We were hired to build a full enclosure for a young Sonoran Desert Tortoise. The tortoise was small enough that the owner was still worried about predators eating it so we had to think of a way to protect it. Check out the YouTube video of this build to see how we solved that problem. This build included the wall, 5 plants, and a new burrow. Be sure to like and subscribe to the YouTube channel if you enjoy watching our builds! https://youtu.be/WlkGXN2TdvI?si=bhlDONn-FZ-vc0ZC #tortoise #building

We just finished building our second free burrow for the year before we made this video so we were exhausted, soaked in sweat, and filthy. Be grateful that you couldn’t smell us through this video 🤢 Stay tuned for the video of the free burrow build that we did for a school in the northwest valley! | Arizona Tortoise Tubes

Spring time is here in the valley. If Idon’t regularly trim back my plants, they completely cover the ground and restrict the tortoises movement through the enclosure so it’s very important to keep them at a manageable length. #desert #tortoise #habitat #animals #Arizona
